Since you began blogging about fashion – what has been the biggest change you have witnessed in the world of online fashion?
Years ago, there were hardly any blogs or top fashion retailers online. People mostly sought style inspiration from print magazines but with the power of both digital and social media, there’s been a strong shift away from print. The fact that you can create content about fashion and style on a website and have thousands of followers through social media is fascinating.
Also, I find it very interesting that many well-known brands now approach bloggers or blogs with a huge fan base to not just write about their brands but in some cases provide advertising, online marketing/SEO and social media services. By doing a blogger-outreach campaign, one can easily engage audiences, build conversations and create customer loyalty around fashion images that will eventually translate into more benefits for the brand. There are so many pictures and videos of fashion, beauty and style everywhere on the Internet such that it’s easy to stay fashionable and well dressed simply by going online to find the right information. I love that.
What’s your favourite item in your closet?
There are so many things I love, it’s hard to have a favourite but if I had to pick one, it would be a pink Calvin Klein dress that was recently gifted to me.
As a naturalista, what are some of your go to hairstyles?
Generally, I like to put hair in a bun or an updo because it hides and protects my ends. In the winter, I’m very low-maintenance. I don’t leave my hair out because it gets dry and brittle easily. During such times, my go-to style would be the donut bun. In the summer, I leave my hair out more often so I do either a wash-and-go or twist-outs.
What are some of your favourite products?
I’d have to say definitely extra virgin olive oil for both hair and skin. I can’t get enough of it. I also like Deva Curl hair products, especially their conditioners because it really makes my natural hair soft and management.
Describe your style in 3 words.

In your opinion what’s on this fall season’s “it” list?
There are so many fall trends this year. One of them is leather. By that, I mean any type of clothing made with leather. It could be a chic jacket, peplum top or a pair of over-the-knee boots. It has become a versatile trend and there’s many ways to incorporate leather into your style aside from just your shoes and bags.
