Hair growth vitamins review: African Hair Accel, Essential vitamins for fast African Hair Growth.
If you read my blog regularly, you’ll know that I’m a huge fan of healthy foods. The products I preach about and sell are from foods, fruits, herbs and clays!
To supplement my good food intake, I’ve tried Biotin and MSM and now African Hair Accel…but to say that I am consistent with any of these supplements would be stretching the truth.
As always, my philosophy is food first, supplements second. Nonetheless, check out my rating of African Hair Accel below!
African Hair Accel
Retail Price: $22.00 [90 Capsules]
Things we love:
- Noticeable Hair growth overtime.
- Overall healthy hair.
- Less Shedding/Breakage!
- The more you buy, the better the deal. They even have a referral program, click here for more details: http://africanhairaccel.com/109.html
What we don’t love: When taking Biotin I noticed visibly clearer skin, with African Hair Accel I didn’t. However, it’s strictly a hair vitamin, plus it’s recommended you take 3 capsules a day and I take only 1 (one). Perhaps this could be the reason.
Rating: 4/5 (based on 1.5 months trial March 15th – May 2nd 2014, see pictures below)
Tips
*Improve your hair care regimen. A good regimen encourages visible hair growth.
*Whenever possible stop over-processing your hair [for example, perming, colouring, bleaching, etc] damaged hair leads to hair loss.
What hair growth pills have you tried?

I can definitely see the growth. Look at you! (Y) I’ve never taken any hair growth vitamins. I just stick to my daily multivitamin 🙂
@Vee I’m just bad at taking pills, but even though I’m inconsistent I believe it works. I have experience considerably less shedding and breakage! it’s amazing! Thanks for reading as always <3
Looks great! It did grow in fast!
I take a supplement that is very good, called NutriCap. I have only been able to find it here in Montreal. It is made by NutriSante in their laboratories in Lachine, Quebec. I quite like it, I grow about an inch a month despite having waist length hair (a time when it slows down!)
Out of curiosity, can women of other races take this supplement?
Hi Jennifer, thanks so much for your reply. Hair vitamins can really be a great way for all women to grow their hair longer and more quickly. African Hair Accel it is made specifically for women with African hair so you would probably have more success with a different vitamin like Hairfinity or the supplement you mentioned you were already taking. Best of luck with your hair goals!
