Shakara reviews Natural Hair Community’s products
I am a huge devotee to Ayurvedic herbs and all things natural. So when I was contacted to review these products…I exclaimed, yes!!!
Made with 100% pure organic plant herbs – Natural Hair Community’s Growth Stimulating Herbal hair tea and Relaxing Herbal Bath are not only hydrating & nourishing to both your hair and skin, but also budget-friendly!
Our verdict: After a few weeks of continual use, my hair feels ultra-moisturized! This potent blend of distinct plant herbs is ooh so simple, yet perfect.
P.S. I am using both as a hair rinse/spritz!
Rating: 4/5
Price: $5.00 – $10.00 (depending on size ordered)
Ingredients:
Relaxing Herbal Bath Tea: Lavender buds, Rose petals, Chamomile.
Growth Stimulating Herbal hair tea: Lavender buds, Rosemary and Hibiscus Petals.

*On their website it notes: Do not use Rosemary if pregnant, have epilepsy or have high blood pressure.
Rosemary in a large dose, like that used in medicinal amounts, could be dangerous for your pregnancy. The same goes for herbs such as Garlic, Sage, Ginger and Turmeric. All of these herbs could be contraindicated in pregnancy when used in large or concentrated doses, but are considered safe when used in amounts found in food. 1

HINTS:
For added moisture in hair when using as a tea rinse/spritz: try adding a few drops of vegetable glycerine or honey to your mixture/spray bottle – your hair will THANK YOU!
Once prepared, store in the fridge. [/box]
Natural Hair Community also makes whipped Amla butter – which is great for both skincare and hair care. Since I have fine hair, I very rarely use butters to seal in moisture. However if you have thick coarse hair – we recommend that you give this product a try!
Amla powder helps to strengthen hair, combats greys; plus stimulates hair growth!
Ingredients: Pure Unrefined Raw Ivory Shea Butter, Amla Powder, Hibiscus and Castor Oil, Sweet Almond Oil and Essential Oil Blend.
Rating: 3/5
Prices $5.00 – $12.00 (once again depending on size)
